Goat Shed

The Angora goats have to be sheared in the spring and fall; they do not shed their fleece. The fibers are used for spinning and weaving. The hair goats shed each spring, and if I get out there I can pluck the soft, shedding fibers (minus the guard hairs) and use them in spinning as well.

Peanut (Angora buck)

Popeye (Angora wether)

Pepper (hair doe)

Britches (Angora doe)

Still have to get photos of the new Angora doe.
